Senior A/V Solutions Engineer

Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid – 1–2 days/week in-office)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

A fast-growing digital media and signage company is looking for a Senior A/V Solutions Engineer to join its team. This role will support the Sales team in designing and delivering innovative A/V and digital signage solutions across North America. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for transforming spaces through cutting-edge display technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor team members; review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Design technical A/V solutions and architectures tailored to client needs.
• Create detailed documentation, including BOMs, technical diagrams, and configuration specs.
• Support the sales team with technical input on proposals, pricing, SOWs, and RFP responses.
• Act as the technical point of contact during sales calls and presentations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate requirements into solution designs.
• Work closely with the implementation team to ensure installations meet design specifications.
• Provide on-site and remote technical expertise throughout the pre-sales and post-sales phases.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in A/V design, operations, or field installation.
• Proficiency in tools like Autodesk, Microsoft Visio, or other schematic/visualization software.
• Hands-on experience with LED displays, video transport/playback systems, and content management platforms.
• Familiarity with mechanical mounting solutions and integration of multi-vendor systems.
• Industry certifications (e.g., Avixa CTS, CTS-D) and knowledge of IT networking (subnetting, VLANs) are strong assets.
• Must be willing to travel across North America as required.
• Successful candidates will be subject to a mandatory criminal background check.
