We are looking for a Network Services Analyst to join BrokerLink working out of one of our locations in Alberta, Ontario, or the Atlantic Region on a Permanent FT basis.

What the Role Entails:

• Installs, configures, maintains, and supports all network hardware and software
• Monitors and maintains network speed, performance, and security
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, software, and other network problems
• Designs new infrastructure solutions as the company expands or replaces its system architecture
• Coordinates network-based security risk assessments and penetration testing
• Creates and maintains documentation including network diagrams and SOP’s
• Provides end-user technical support and training
• Assists with hardware and software product research, evaluation, and procurement
• Coordinates with employees, network providers, vendors, and other support staff
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network and security-related hardware and software. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, VPN’s, monitoring tools and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired. Ability to work after business hours as required. Fluent in Microsoft operating systems and productivity suites. University Degree or College Diploma in related discipline or applicable professional experience

• Strong experience working with routers, managed switches, wireless access points…etc.
• Solid understanding of network systems and security
• Nice to have certification in network technology (Cisco, Meraki, etc.)
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
