The Office of Mayor Olivia Chow is hiring a Manager of Digital Communications to lead our digital storytelling, shape our strategic approach to online engagement, and help bring the Mayor’s vision to life online.
We are seeking an experienced and creative digital leader who brings strong strategic thinking, demonstrated people management skills, and a deep understanding of how digital platforms can connect residents to their city.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Communications, the Manager of Digital Communications will lead the Mayor’s digital presence across all platforms. This includes developing and executing an integrated digital strategy, managing online content creation, and using data and analytics to shape our digital direction.
This role requires strong writing and storytelling skills, a collaborative and strategic mindset, proven skills in content and video production, and a deep understanding of how to use digital platforms to engage residents, share policy updates, and highlight the Mayor’s priorities in an authentic and accessible way.

This is a full-time position based at Toronto City Hall. The role involves occasional evening and weekend work to respond to events and manage timely digital engagement.

Salary: $95,000-105,000
