BLACKROC is partnering with a top-tier Federal Government Agency to secure a Senior Automated Test Engineer. This 12-month engagement offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, mobile-first projects with cutting-edge technologies.

Role Purpose

We’re seeking a Senior Automated Test Engineer with proven hands-on experience in Mobile Automation Testing and API Testing. You’ll play a key role in defining automation strategies, enhancing software quality, and collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile and Web Application Testing (Manual & Automated).
• API Testing and Automation using Appium and BrowserStack.
• Test case development, defect documentation, and Test Planning contribution.
• Collaborating with Agile teams and integrating DevOps best practices.
• Supporting cloud-based testing initiatives on AWS.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in mobile app testing (iOS and Android).
• 2+ years of RESTful API Testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with BrowserStack, Appium, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Playwright, Cucumber, and automation framework design.
