CTC : 12-15 Lacs / p.a.

Reports To : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / (CEO)

Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts and finance, including

managing receivables, payables, GST and other compliance, trial balance preparation, inventory

management, foreign remittance, financial reporting, and strategic financial analysis. The role involves

close coordination with the internal auditor and other departments to ensure accurate financial

reporting and compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivables and Payables Management

  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • To ensure cash flow stability, follow up on receivables and make timely payments.
  • Additionally, conduct regular ledger reviews to catch and fix discrepancies early.
  • As a result, no outstanding balances should remain unpaid beyond agreed terms.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports.
  • Moreover, ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Review trial balances on a regular basis to catch any errors.
  • In addition, oversee GST filings and ensure all tax regulations are followed.

Inventory and Foreign Remittance Management

  • Handle inventory accounting for reefer and dry containers.
  • Furthermore, track and report inventory levels with precision.
  • Oversee foreign remittance processes and ensure compliance with international norms.

Audit Coordination and Financial Strategy

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
  • Ensure that, all records comply with current accounting standards.
  • Use financial analysis to make strategic recommendations.
  • Ultimately, these insights help improve both profitability and cost-efficiency.

Leadership and Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor the accounts team for better performance.
  • At the same time, work with other departments to support budgeting and planning.
  • By encouraging teamwork and clear communication, create a productive environment.

Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additionally, a CA or CMA is preferred.
  • With at least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • In addition, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Finally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time position located in Goregaon East, Mumbai.
  • Occasionally, travel may be needed for audits and meetings with other departments.
