Summary

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Monitor media coverage, research industry trends, and develop media monitoring reports.
  • Draft, translate, and edit press materials, including but not limited to press releases, media Q&As, speeches, briefing materials, case studies, and corporate newsletter content under project managers' supervision.
  • Develop social media content and manage clients’ social media accounts.
  • Provide media liaison, media pitch, on-site event, and communications support to internal team members and clients.
  • Support senior managers with business development by conducting research, preparing background materials, and contributing to proposal development.
  • Maintain self-driven passion and curiosity to stay abreast of client issues and related industry/media trends to generate fresh story ideas.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications And Standards 

EDUCATION: 

  • University degree or higher, preferred in Strategic Communications, Media Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.

Languages

  • mother tongue level in Chinese, with excellent English and Chinese research, writing, and speaking skills.

EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 6 months’ internship or full-time work experience in media, public relations or corporate. Experience with social media operation is preferred.

Core Skills

  • Be able to demonstrate excellent writing skills, with the ability to articulate messages clearly and in a style appreciate to target audience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in both traditional media and digital /social media.
  • Has good time management sense, communication skills, and proactive learning attitude.
  • Self-motived, efficient, responsible, flexible and adaptable to different tasks at hand.
