Summary

Creative Spaces Remodeling is a luxury Design-Build Remodeling firm located in Annapolis, MD. We are looking for a positive, professional, and detail-oriented Field Project Assitant to join our growing team. This role reports to the Production Manager of Creative Spaces Remodeling. Job Summary: The Field Project Assistant is mainly responsible for supporting the Production team. This position requires CSR’s core values as well as excellent communication skills, strategic time management and exceeding the needs & expectations of each client. Field Project Assitant Responsibilities: Maintain a strong focus on meeting and exceeding clients' needs and expectations by supporting the Production Manager, Field Project Managers, and In-House Carpenter throughout all aspects of assigned projects. Assist the Production Manager, Field Project Managers, and In-House Carpenter in the day-to-day management of multiple construction projects in a dynamic work environment, including regular travel to and from each job site using company-assigned vehicles. Familiarize yourself with projects managed by the Project Management Team and assist in keeping them organized, clean, and on schedule. Ensure materials and tools are stacked orderly, and perform tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, and removing debris as necessary. Assist in communication with clients, providing updates on the progress of their projects, addressing any concerns or questions they may have, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Upload daily logs to BuilderTrend software, including job site photos and updates on deliveries, cleanliness, safety, inspection status, and other relevant information. Work with tools on job sites as needed to assist Project Managers or the In-House Carpenter. This may include tasks such as basic carpentry, installation or troubleshooting to support project progress and completion. Assist architect and design associate with existing home measurements and general purposes. Assist in identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the project, working collaboratively with the project team to find practical solutions. Work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and other members of the project team to ensure that everyone is working together effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives. Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety standards on job sites and promptly report any safety concerns to the Production Manager. Help to ensure that workmanship meets company standards and that any issues or deficiencies are addressed promptly. Attend job-site inspection meetings and relay pertinent information to the Project Management team. Meet trades and suppliers at job sites to communicate essential information and coordinate as needed, as well as job site supervision when needed. Assist in overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is being carried out according to the project plans, specifications, and quality and CSR standards. Notify the Project management team if you hear or see anything at a job site that would negatively impact the project or CSR. Stay updated on industry best practices, building codes, and regulations related to home remodeling to ensure compliance and improve project outcomes. Drive work vehicles and haul trailers as required for project logistics. Load, transport, and unload project materials for multiple construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and availability of materials as per project requirements. Perform maintenance tasks at the main office and assist with special projects as needed to support overall company operations. Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient and successful completion of projects and company objectives. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: A minimum of 3 years of residential construction/remodeling experience preferred. BuilderTrend software knowledge preferred. Design Build experience preferred. PMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset. Physical Requirements: Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities, as well as applicable job sites.
