Summary
Technology Support I JOB SUMMARY: The School Technology Support I is responsible for providing first-level support for the district's technology infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as providing training & support to staff and students. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide level 1 technical support to students, teachers, and staff regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues, primarily focused on Apple products. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of technology equipment, including desktops, laptops, tablets, projectors, printers, and audio-visual equipment. Identify and resolve hardware and software problems promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the learning environment. Maintain district data systems, such Mosyle, Follett, help desk system and other educational applications. Create, manage, and update user accounts for students, faculty, and staff in various systems, ensuring proper access levels and security protocols. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in a technical field or demonstrated experience working with various software applications, databases and related management programs. At least 3 years of experience in a school or educational setting providing technology support is preferred. Experience with a variety of computer hardware and software, preference given to individuals with experience using Apple products. Experience with equipment deployment & device management software. COMPENSATION: Hourly rate ranges from $20.89 - $31.34, based on verified prior experience and education. This is a 12 month, benefits eligible position.
