Summary

Grid Dynamics is looking for a motivated Customer Support Analyst to join our team in Serbia. This is an exciting time to join our company as we continue our significant growth trend.


Essential functions


  • Process user requests related to IntelliJ-based IDE functionality—primarily focused on User Interface issues, but not limited to them
  • Triage and manage issues in YouTrack, assisting developers and QA engineers in identifying and isolating problems across diverse technical environments
  • Act as a bridge between users and product teams (including Developers, Product Managers, and QA), relaying user feedback and insights
  • Continuously learn and deepen your understanding of all aspects of the product


Qualifications


  • Solid technical background, with knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • OS administration (Linux, Windows, macOS): understanding of startup scripts, performance monitoring, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model)
  • Software development in JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala preferred)
  • Technical troubleshooting in complex environments
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a support or QA role
  • Understanding of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and a strong interest in this field
  • A genuine interest in helping users, even in challenging situations
  • Excellent written English


Would be a plus


  • Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, or similar IDEs
  • Experience using version control systems (Git, Mercurial, Subversion)
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, WSL)
