CARNORD Digital Solutions, founded in 2018, provides innovative solutions and advisory services for enterprises venturing into Additive Manufacturing (AM; commonly known as 3D Printing). We support clients with prototypes and replacement parts through our global network of service providers equipped with AM, CNC Precision Machining, and injection molding technologies. Our AM solutions mitigates issues with out-of-production replacement parts and extends the useful life of machinery and equipment. With the use of AM, CNC Precision Machining and injection molding technologies, we offer solutions to enterprises working on research and development, prototyping and new product introduction.

Role Objectives

This is a full-time role for a Technical Solutions Engineer located in Kuala Lumpur. You will work with members in Technical Solutions Team and other Departments within the Company to provide technical solutions related to Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) ('AM/3DP'), CNC Machining and related solutions to satisfy Customers' requirements.

You will plan, develop and grow the clientele base of the Company's businesses to meet the Sales and Business Objectives of the Company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

a.     Manage, service and develop existing customers through targeted visits, presentations and follow up calls

b.     Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in developing technical solutions to customers.

c.     Work closely with Technical Solutions and Business Support teams to meet customers’ requirements and to resolve any issues arising.

d.     Prepare periodic sales analysis, reports, budgets and presentations, and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases.

e.     Follow up with customers on overdue invoices and receivables.

f.     Develop new customer accounts and grow clientele base.

g.     Collaborate with Marketing Team to develop a strong lead and opportunity pipeline.

Experience and Skills

a.     A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

b.     Excellent in English communication and writing skills. Knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.

c.     Working experience in the area of Technical Sales or Technical Support will be beneficial.

d.     A quick learner, proactive, self-organized and discipline.

e.     Flexible and adaptive to changes in business requirements and working environment.

f.     Keep abreast and update personal knowledge on AM, CNC, Injection Molding and related technology and processes.
