Skillset :

JOB SUMMARY:

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases, including Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching.
• Implement and maintain high availability solutions using Oracle RAC.
• Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries for efficiency.
• Configure and manage backup and recovery processes for Oracle databases.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and perform problem resolution.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support database-related initiatives.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Oracle Database administration, including Oracle RAC.
• Strong understanding of Oracle RAC architecture and configuration.
• Experience with Oracle Database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager for database monitoring and management.
• Experience with Oracle Database backup and recovery solutions (e.g., RMAN).

Desirable Attributes:

• Certification in Oracle Database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
• Experience with Oracle Exadata or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell scripting or Python for automation.

QUALIFICATION:

• BE/Btech, MCA, MSC
• Relevant certifications in Oracle Database administration or related areas.
