POSITION PURPOSE:

• The Structural Design Engineer will focus on BIM engineering design tasks related to geometry, modeling and drawing preparation of bridges and geotechnical structures, including structural details from conceptual to final design in Tekla software.
• Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches and scheduling performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 - 7 years of experience working in Tekla Structure with experience working in Tekla concrete and rebar detailing will be assigned in Bridge Department
• Must be able to perform Material TakeOff
• Advanced knowledge in Tekla Structures (e.g. creation of custom components and templates)
• With experience working in Bridges and Geotechnical Structures is a plus
• Ability to perform 3D modeling in Tekla Structure both in concrete and steel would be an advantage
• With experience in doing cut and fill in C3D or Open Roads would be an advantage
• With good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well independently and a team player
