Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver technical drawings based on client requirements
• Able to review and check own work as well as that of others
• Create drawings and designs in accordance with governing codes
• Optimize designs to meet project requirements
• Liaise with clients regarding specific detail requirements
• Create structural details for steel and concrete connections/joints
• Report directly to the U.S.-based project design lead
  
  

Job Requirements

• Structural Design Engineer proficient in various design software, including ETABS, Bentley Suite (STAAD.Pro, etc.), SAP, and RAM Structural System
• Knowledgeable in ASCE, AISC, and ASTM standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD-based design
• Skilled in MathCAD
• Experienced in residential and commercial design, particularly retail projects
• Knowledgeable in plumbing design, pipe sizing, and pipe friction calculations
• Capable of troubleshooting design flaws and developing structural design solutions
• Willing to research building code requirements based on project location
• Open to working full-time on the night shift
• Ability to understand the effort level and product quality desired based on a short zoom call or phone conversation.
• Good communication skills with project manager, able to meet project deadlines.
