Job Title: Mental Health Specialist - Spanish Bilingual Division/Program: Outpatient Starting Compensation: 24.36 - 29.23 USD Per Hour Working Location: San Jose: South San Jose Center (In-person position) Working Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday. Employee Recognition & Rewards: A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication What you bring to SBHG (qualifications): * Associates degree and six (6) years of direct service experience in a Mental Health field; OR * Bachelor's degree in the mental health field and four (4) years direct service experience in a Mental Health field; OR * Enrolled in a Master's degree program in the mental health field and one (1) year direct service experience in a Mental Health field, OR * Master's degree in the mental health field and one (1) year direct service experience in a Mental Health field * Valid California Driver's License How you will make a difference (job overview): This position has primary responsibility for mental health services and case management services to children, adolescents and their families. The Mental Health Specialist provides mental health services including engagement, assessment and evaluation, and other services to clients referred to the Community Services Program. Acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical & support staff. Documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information. Division/Program Overview: * Works with clients ages 6-18. * Telehealth, community, clinic and home-based services * Variety of metal health issues addressed. * Provides services to clients throughout Santa Clara County.
