Summary

Jacob’s Ladder Therapies is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinician to join our group practice. As a Licensed Clinician, you will work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals to provide diagnosis, and treatment to individuals, families, and groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating children and adolescents using evidence-based therapies, experience with culturally diverse families, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping families achieve mental wellness and stability.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, including interviews, standardized testing, and observation, to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.


  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based therapies and interventions.


  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.


  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.


  • Collaborate and consult with other mental health professionals within the group practice to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and any other required documentation.


  • Stay informed about current research and advancements in the field of psychology, participating in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops, conferences, and trainings.


  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent.


  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision to enhance professional growth and foster a supportive working environment. 


Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid California license to practice as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with teens and families experiencing a wide range of mental health disorders.
  • Willing to work with clients in-person and dedicate a minimum of 5 clinical hours/week
  • Proven experience in providing evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and ability to integrate them into treatment plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with culturally diverse client populations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines and maintaining professional boundaries.
