Position Overview:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, configure ServiceNow applications, integrate with external systems, and ensure the successful deployment and ongoing support of ServiceNow-based solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions leveraging ServiceNow capabilities.
- Configuration: Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, and
integrations to meet business needs while also aligning to ServiceNow bets practices.
- Scripting and Development: Utilize JavaScript, Glide APIs, and other scripting languages to
implement custom functionality and enhancements within the ServiceNow platform.
- Integration: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using
web services, API’s, Spokes, and middleware technologies.
- Data Management: Assist in managing data within the CMDB including data imports, exports,
and transformations.
- User Interface Enhancement: Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and dashboards to provide an intuitive user experience for ServiceNow users.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and deployment procedures.
- Deployment and Support: Support the deployment of ServiceNow solutions, including migration between environments, and provide ongoing maintenance and support.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, best practices, and
industry trends, and identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in at least two of the following modules: ITOM,
ITSM, CSM, SPM, MCO, WSD, & HRSD.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform components, including Service Catalog, Incident
Management, Change Management, Demand, Project, and CMDB.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
