Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy :

• Design comprehensive test plans and strategies for both manual and automated testing.
• Define test objectives, create detailed test cases, and ensure full test coverage.
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to review requirements and provide feedback early in the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
  
  

Test Execution & Reporting

• Execute manual and automated test cases across various platforms and environments.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using standard tools.
• Analyze test results, provide actionable insights, and continuously improve test processes.
  
  

Test Automation

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cypress.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  
  

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in manual and automated testing of web applications
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cypress
• Proficiency in writing and understanding SQL queries for database validation
• Solid understanding of code, debugging, and basic programming logic
• Experience with API testing, including tools like Postman, and frameworks like Cucumber
• Proficient with Git/GitHub for version control
