Sales Director - Energy, Austin-USA

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director for Energy Semiconductor Solutions sales to Energy Generation, Transmission and storage solution companies. The role will focus on building customer traction and revenue streams for North America. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales revenue growth and building client engagements.

Area of Responsibilities:

Strategy:

• Build a comprehensive industry mapping of leading Energy Generation, Transmission and Energy Storage solution providers / OEMs, equipment manufacturers as prospects. 2. Understand fundamental business drivers and competitive landscape to craft
• strategic engagement proposals for long term value delivery.
• Develop and execute market strategies and sales plan.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure the product offerings meets market needs (cost vs feature set vs performance) along the entire value chain.

Sales:

• Build revenue streams through customer engagement for organic and inorganic product portfolio
• Drive product positioning and pricing of our current products to new and existing customers.
• Effectively execute sales calls to all potential decision makers uncovering unmet needs and concisely demonstrating the value that LTSCT offers.
• Facilitate customer sample evaluations, new design wins, build strategic relationships with clients.
• Clearly and accurately articulate the voice of the customer to cross-functional team.
• Present strategies and business plans to executive management for approval.
• Leadership role in developing a winning proposal and professionally presenting this to the customer.
• Lead efforts for design wins (analyze RFQs/RFIs/Quotes etc.) and forecast revenue associated.
• Support preparation of quarterly forecasts for financial and supply management incl. 5 year strategy plan for market segment.
• Establish a diverse sales and FAE team to be the front engine for effective customer engagement and establish a uniform customer experience sales playbook.
• Drive brand building in the industry with participation in conferences and industry forums

Relationships:

• Create and cultivate close relationships with key decision makers at customers.
• Build and maintain strong, respect-based business relationships focusing on increasing social capital inside target customers entire organization.
• Foster relationships with potential new customers to drive RFQ opportunities.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, business or related field.

Experience & Qualification

• 18+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in semiconductors for Energy sector
• Track record of winning new business and large deals
• Extensive knowledge of Energy sector sales and program management preferred Willingness to travel for customer and team meetings.
