Now, you’re probably wondering a little more about what we are looking for, so here it is:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience – Preferred
- 1+ years of recruiting experience – Preferred
- 1+ years in Human Resource position – Preferred
- Basic knowledge of personnel and human resource principles, practices, and processes
- Basic knowledge of office procedures
- Proficient knowledge of the English language, including spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Basic skill in problem solving/troubleshooting
- Basic skill in editing documents for correct grammar
- Basic skill in communicating with others to convey and receive information effectively
- Basic skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Basic skill in ability to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously
- Basic critical thinking skills
- Basic skill in data entry, with minimal errors
- Basic skill in managing one’s time
- Basic skill in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Competent skill in communicating effectively in writing and verbally, as appropriate for the needs of the audience

Want some more specifics? If you join the Gradient Financial Group crew, here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Work with hiring managers/Financial Service Professionals to ensure a proper understanding of hiring needs as well as identify and manage recruiting strategy
- Ensure proper application and applicable background release forms/screens are completed
- Proactively search for and cultivate candidates using all approved and available means, i.e. recruitment sites, job boards, etc.
- Process and review candidate resume/applications to assess qualifications or eligibility of candidate
- Schedule and screen applicants to obtain and verify information used to assess recommendation for advancement in interview process
- Create advertising and post job openings on all approved and available sites/locations.
- Schedule in-person interviews with hiring team; managing all candidate and hiring team communication to ensure a great candidate experience
- Inform job applicants of their acceptance or rejection of employment as directed
- Explain company policies, benefits, HR technology and procedures to employees or job applicants
- Prepare documents, forms, announcements and other materials used to communicate information to employees or job applicants
- Ensure confidentiality and data integrity of all personnel & candidate data
- Provide job offer support to managers/FSPs and ensure proper HR compliance-related processes and procedures are completed before offers are made
- Build and maintain organized and accurate employee files
- Prepare new hire materials for distribution and assist in new-hire processes, i.e. first day orientation, new hire orientation, administrative duties related to onboarding, etc.
- Assist in ensuring a positive new-hire experience for all new hires
- Educate new hires on the onboarding process, requirements, and all things Gradient beginning with phone screens and throughout communication with them.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR projects
- All other duties as assigned
