The Role
As a QA Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full project life cycle of our software products as part of a dedicated development team. You will work alongside the development team using Agile Scrum to ensure the quality of all Heimdal products.
You will report into our Dev Team Lead located in Bucharest.
/!\ We are primarily looking into Bucharest --> the role is hybrid, meaning there's no mandatory number of days in the office per week, rather from time to time the team comes to the office to socialize, therefore if you are located more than 100km away from Bucharest, consider that from time to time you'll need to come to the office in Bucharest, and usually these expenditures are not supported by the company.
What you'll do:
· Perform daily testing tasks as part of the monthly development sprint;
· Investigate, report and track bugs detected in our software products, working closely within the Dev team to ensure these bugs are properly reported and the status is up-to-date;
· Develop and execute Test Cases;
· Troubleshoot and investigate issues reported by customers and the support team;
· Take part in the daily, weekly and monthly scrum ceremonies.
What we appreciate in terms of experience:
· Minimum 2-3 years of Software QA experience;
· Good knowledge of Software Testing Methodologies;
· Quality focused mindset;
· Great attention to details;
· Good time management skills;
· Good troubleshooting skill;
· Good knowledge of Windows OS - Windows 10 and later versions;
· Ability to perform and develop Test Plans, Test Design and Test Execution for System Testing, Acceptance Criteria, Functional Testing, Run Test Scripts, Integration Testing, Regression Tests;
· Basic knowledge of scripting skills: CMD, PowerShell, Bash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
· Mobile testing experience (both iOS and Android) is a plus;
· MacOS knowledge is a plus.
· Shell Scripting is a plus.
Nice to have:
· Visual Studio 2022, Azure DevOps, Git;
· Agile/Scrum Methodologies;
· Windows Servers 2012 R2 and above, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) knowledge;
· Virtualization in Hyper-V (building testing environments);
· Basic knowledge of: Any programming language, Networking, SQL, Linux;
· ISTQB Foundation.
