Manpower Romania , IT & Engineering division is looking for a Cybersecurity Team Manager,

for one of it's clients , a large multinational company that will lead key security resources and initiatives, support strategic IT objectives, and reduce organizational risk through effective team coordination and execution.

Responsabilities:

• Manage resources (staff, budget, leadership support) to meet IT and network security objectives.
• Design, review, and implement cybersecurity strategy in your area of responsibility.
• Allocate resources and ensure timely resolution of requests while enforcing compliance with policies and procedures.
• Act as the first escalation point for prioritizing team tasks.
• Ensure timely closure of internal/external audit findings and QA reviews.
• Support incident management processes within your team.
• Coach and mentor your team, sharing security management standards and best practices.
• Define measurable goals and conduct performance reviews at least twice a year.
• Represent the Cybersecurity function in governance forums and communicate progress or blockers.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure internal/external commitments are met.
• Support capacity planning, workload balancing, and team leave planning.
• Identify training needs and contribute to the annual skills development plan.

✅ Ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, with at least 2 years in team leadership and coaching
• Strong background in risk management, cybersecurity architecture, and network security principles.
• Hands-on knowledge of IT supply chain security, emerging threat vectors, and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with communication protocols, Windows/Linux environments, networking fundamentals, and DBMS.
• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 standards.
