Summary

ROLE SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall project execution for projects assigned. The role holder is also responsible for project planning, monitoring, execution, control and closure.


ROLE PROFILE

  • Monitor and Direct Implementation: Oversee the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the assigned project.
  • Create and Revise Project Plans: Develop project plans and adjust them as needed to meet changing organizational requirements.
  • Stay Abreast of Changes: Monitor technological, legal, and operational changes affecting the project and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain Cost Control: Implement a cost control system throughout the project and provide regular financial updates to management.
  • Develop Governance Framework: Establish a governance framework to ensure the progress of long-term projects.
  • Facilitate Team Coordination: Conduct weekly project meetings to coordinate between different teams (construction, marketing, operations) and ensure all team members are aware of their roles and deadlines.
  • Define Project Scope and Timeline: Outline the scope of the project, including specific areas and systems to be upgraded, and develop a timeline with key milestones.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: Certify that the project quality meets the required standards, manage interactions with internal departments and vendors, and oversee risk management.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required -PMP certification are preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years in operations or project management, with at least 2 years in the retail business or a closely related industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey project goals, updates, and expectations to stakeholders and team members.
  • Organizational and Multitasking Abilities: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, ensuring that multiple aspects of the project are managed efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure that all project components meet quality standards and that potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.
