Responsibilities

Project Ownership & Execution

• End-to-end delivery of complex projects (e.g., client on boarding, SOC deployment, cloud migrations).
• Lead planning and execution of technical projects, from initiation through delivery.
• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
• Lead kick-off meetings and client reviews.
• Oversee cross-functional project teams: security engineers, cloud architects, NOC/SOC analysts, etc.

Technical Oversight.

• Translate technical requirements into project plans and milestones.
• Understand components like firewalls, SIEMs, endpoint protection, virtualization, storage, etc.
• Guide deployment and configuration of cloud environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or public-private hybrid setups).
• Collaborate with solution architects, security engineers, and cloud teams to design project plans.
• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
• Oversee infrastructure rollouts (e.g., private cloud nodes, firewalls, backups).

Client Engagement

• Act as primary point of contact for clients during delivery.
• Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Manage scope changes, client expectations, and delivery risks

Risk, Budget & Schedule Management:

• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and resource allocations.
• Ensure delivery within SLA and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Excellent leadership and communication skills
• FITIL/ITSM Foundation
• Strong stakeholder management
• Budgeting and Financial Tracking
• Ability to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong grasp of MSP business models: SLA enforcement, recurring revenue, service automation.
• Solid understanding of virtualization, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity ecosystems (e.g., EDR, MFA, SIEM).
• Preferrable: PMP/PRINCE2 certification
