As a Project Manager, you play a key role in the execution of automation projects for container terminals worldwide. You will be responsible for the entire project management cycle and team coordination.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced engineer with a strong technical background in electromechanics, practical project management experience, and a hands-on mentality. Traveling to international project locations is not an issue for you.
You will report directly to the Project Operations Manager.
Your Role
Full project management: You coordinate and manage projects from A to Z, including budgeting, scheduling, scope, and execution according to contractual quality requirements and HSE standards.
Technical documentation: You define, design, and calculate high-quality technical project documentation (mechanical, electrical, IT, hardware production, Health & Safety, and other deliverables).
Team coordination: You lead your project team (project engineers, technicians, software developers, and other team members) and collaborate with local subcontractors.
Customer interaction & collaboration: You travel to customers and work closely with their project management team. You organize and lead meetings with clients.
Product knowledge: You build and maintain a deep understanding of Camco products and automation processes.
Profile
Education: Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering (Technology), Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management within an industrial environment.
Technical expertise: Strong background in electromechanics and experience with industrial applications. Experience in terminal automation is a plus.
Software knowledge: Experience with Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools is an advantage.
Travel willingness: Willing to travel worldwide (10-20%).
