Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Project Manager with strong NYC experience to lead architectural projects from concept to construction, across multiple projects. You’ll oversee design, coordination, and construction administration, and mentor junior staff.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • The Project Manager will lead project design, drawing production, coordination, and construction administration, while mentoring junior staff and reporting to senior management
  • Proficient in reviewing DOB objections and ensuring compliance with building codes, client preferences, and overall design intent
  • Strong drafting skills with the ability to balance drafting, project management & coordination
  • Manage consultants on building projects, including - structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, expeditors, lighting & acoustical consultants
  • Maintain clear communication and organization by documenting project correspondence and preparing meeting agendas and minutes
  • Perform Quality Control (QC) reviews of drawing sets
  • Manage construction administration tasks, including RFIs, ASIs, submittal of drawing reviews, with a strong understanding of CSI divisions
  • Support senior management, COO & the principal to assure client satisfaction


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s (required), Master’s preferred. A 4-year BS in architecture may be considered
  • 4–8 years of architectural experience; at least 2 years managing NYC projects
  • Proficient in Revit (& plug-ins such as Enscape), AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop & 3D computer modeling software
  • Familiar with NYC DOB processes, Building Codes, Zoning, Comcheck & Accessibility
  • Experience with AIA contracts and project schedules.
  • Ability to work independently & in a team, in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Experience in Interior Design is a plus
