New York City based Commercial Millwork company currently looking to hire a hardworking and motivated individual with experience in managing millwork projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of millwork and fixture projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and internal teams to develop project scopes and timelines.
Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure project accuracy.
Ensuring quality standards and budget adherence.
Coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality control.
Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and on-site teams to ensure project alignment.
Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and address budget overruns.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, reports, and change orders.
Address and resolve any project-related challenges in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in millwork, fixtures, cabinetry, or related industries.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and shop drawings.
Knowledge of woodworking materials, fabrication techniques, and installation methods.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Workfront, or similar).
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
