Job Title: Network Engineer(DNAC & SDA)

Location: Brooklyn, NY or Bronx, NY (100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week)

Position Overview:

is currently seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support a high-profile Cisco deployment for our enterprise client in New York. This role requires on-site support five days per week at either the Brooklyn or Bronx location. The selected engineer will provide both operational and strategic support for Cisco Route & Switch, SD-Access (SDA), and Wireless infrastructures with a heavy focus on Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) as a centralized automation and network management platform.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, technically sound in enterprise-grade networking environments, and confident engaging with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support for Cisco Routing & Switching environments, with a focus on BGP and ISIS protocols.
• Deliver Tier 1 support for Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Wireless solutions, with clear understanding of architecture and operations.
• Work closely with Cisco and customer leadership teams on the deployment and optimization of Cisco DNA Center (DNAC).
• Tie-in and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) within SDA/DNAC implementations.
• Perform proactive and reactive consulting, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across the network infrastructure.
• Contribute to the planning, design, and rollout of future enhancements across enterprise-level networks.
• Lead conversations with C-level stakeholders and advise on network modernization strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching, including BGP and ISIS – operational support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco DNAC and Software-Defined Access (SDA), particularly in Tier 1-level support and deployment settings.
• Working knowledge of Cisco Wireless infrastructure – Tier 1–2 support experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE integration within SDA/DNAC environments.
• Proven experience supporting complex enterprise networks in high-visibility roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working with executive leadership.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE (Routing & Switching) are highly preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Prior consulting experience with Cisco or Cisco Gold Partners.
• Exposure to large public-sector or healthcare networks.
• Experience with automation or scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) in a Cisco environment.
