TITLE: Program Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects and grants
play a critical part in organizing program activities, managing the execution of grants and projects,
monitoring progress toward goals, and collaborating with other departments to ensure optimal efficiency.
The Program Manager will supervise project coordinators and external evaluators to ensure that expected
outcomes are met and that the organization's strategic goals are fulfilled.
Tasks And Detailed Work Activities
- Manage the implementation of various projects and grant programs, ensuring each one is executed
effectively and in alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure that all projects and grants are designed to deliver expected benefits and outcomes.
- Develop and organize programs to enhance organizational efficiency, build long-term strategic
goals for company projects, and ensure the development of appropriate project and program
budgets.
- For each grant and program cycle, develop and implement clear, actionable plans that ensure
smooth program execution.
- Prioritize and organize daily activities based on grant goals and broader organizational objectives,
ensuring that deadlines and key milestones are met.
- Provide leadership and supervision to project coordinators, ensuring that they are focused on
achieving program goals and meeting project deadlines.
- Work closely with other departments to develop and manage budgets, amend budgets as needed,
and coordinate staffing plans for the programs.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of programs to identify strengths and areas for
improvement, ensuring that programs are meeting established goals and delivering value to
participants.
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on program status, discuss challenges, and
ensure alignment with program goals.

- Work closely with the marketing team to improve program strategies, enhance outreach, and
increase engagement for program success.
- Supervise consultants and external evaluators, ensuring they adhere to contracts and deliver
evaluations that align with strategic outcomes and organizational needs.
- Perform any other task requested by the supervisor.
Experience
5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a non-profit or grantfunded
organization.
Proven experience in managing multiple programs or projects simultaneously, including budgeting,
planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a team, including project coordinators and external
partners.
Experience in evaluating program effectiveness and developing improvement strategies.
KNOWLEDGE
Strong understanding of grant management processes, including budgeting, compliance, and
reporting.
Familiarity with program evaluation techniques and data analysis.
Knowledge of BG

Understanding of the strategic planning process and long-term project development.
Skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with various
stakeholders, including senior management, external partners, and staff.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software
(e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar).
Budgeting and financial planning skills, with an ability to collaborate across departments for budget
amendments and planning.
Ability to assess program performance, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills, especially when working across departments
or with external consultants.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel required for stakeholder
meetings, site visits, or conferences. Flexibility in work hours may be needed to
accommodate the needs of various programs and stakeholders.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or attending meetings.
Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally (e.g., carrying materials for events or
meetings).
Ability to travel for work as necessary, including local and occasional out-of-town travel for
meetings or program-related events.
