Job Description
The candidate for this position is required to perform daily warehouse functions, including:
Packing, unpacking, and marking items for inventory
Following direct instructions for manufacturing processes
Using hand tools to manufacture certain products
Working closely with the department manager to ensure proper workflow, product storage, and inventory counts
Maintaining equipment in working order and promoting a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Following quality control procedures
Exercising judgment under general supervision in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques
Identifying and correcting any issues or problems with orders
Checking order status and each team's quality of work
Substituting for employees absent from work
Performing quality control checks
Keeping work areas clean and organized
Assisting employees with product issuance
Reporting daily personnel numbers to management
Job Requirements
Good understanding and basic knowledge of a warehouse environment
Ability to handle periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy or awkward materials or equipment
Capability to work in an environment with occasional exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, or loud noise
Strong teamwork skills with a "team player" attitude and willingness to help as needed
Leadership ability and team management skills
Ability to process weekly payroll
Experience administering disciplinary actions
Commitment to employee empowerment
Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask and adapt
High School Diploma or GED required
2-5 years of relevant experience recommended
