Job Description

The candidate for this position is required to perform daily warehouse functions, including:

  • Packing, unpacking, and marking items for inventory
  • Following direct instructions for manufacturing processes
  • Using hand tools to manufacture certain products
  • Working closely with the department manager to ensure proper workflow, product storage, and inventory counts
  • Maintaining equipment in working order and promoting a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Following quality control procedures
  • Exercising judgment under general supervision in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques
  • Identifying and correcting any issues or problems with orders
  • Checking order status and each team's quality of work
  • Substituting for employees absent from work
  • Performing quality control checks
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized
  • Assisting employees with product issuance
  • Reporting daily personnel numbers to management

Job Requirements

  • Good understanding and basic knowledge of a warehouse environment
  • Ability to handle periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy or awkward materials or equipment
  • Capability to work in an environment with occasional exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, or loud noise
  • Strong teamwork skills with a "team player" attitude and willingness to help as needed
  • Leadership ability and team management skills
  • Ability to process weekly payroll
  • Experience administering disciplinary actions
  • Commitment to employee empowerment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask and adapt
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience recommended
