Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence. Are you ready to lead cross-functional teams and drive impactful projects? In this Principal Technical Program Management role, you will:
- Work across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, leading us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the business’s problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. This position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects.
- Define project scopes, plan and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings.
- Prepare and distribute progress reports.
- Manage risks and issues, correct deviations from plans, and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
- Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.
- Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
- Collaborate closely with our partners in program and product management to understand our customers and build the right solutions and products that meet their needs and complete their businesses.
- Possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams.
- Be a self-starter technical leader with a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects.
- Have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.

- Partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to create solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities
Job Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.
- Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
- Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
- Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.
- Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation
- Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.
- Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.5+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager; preferably in a related industry.
- Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management, product design or related experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking
- Demonstrated knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services.
