Programme Support AdministratorJob Title: Programme support admin Reports To: Head of PMO & PortfolioOverall Job Purpose:The role of the PMO Support is to provide specialist support expertise for PMO / programme / project managers. They’ll be known as experts and will play a proactive role in supporting PMO / Programme & Project managers to apply programme and project management methods and implement best practice processes. This will include the application of practical management controls that support improved project/organizational performance.Responsibilities:Development and maintenance of a Project Management toolkitQuality AssuranceStage Gate support and sign offFSOC (Forward Schedule of Change)Capability and Capacity management (flex up, down)Learning and Development programmesCommunities of PracticeInduction supportIntegrated PlanningSupport adoption and delivery of corporate governance expectationsShare information, good practice, and expertise with othersRisk mitigation / RAID logsProject board meetingsPreparing project board packsPresentation at C-suite levelSchedulingResource managementAttend board meetings, put together board packs, take minutes & actionsWork closely and support the Project/Programme ManagerQualifications:Degree level in relevant subject (IT, Business Studies, etc.)Prince2/PMI/PM CertificationMinimum of 5 years of experience in an equivalent roleExcellent understanding of the application of the project lifecycleOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsProven success in a similar roleGood knowledge and experience of industry-standard best practice Portfolio and Programme ManagementProficient user of the MS Office suite, MS Visio, and MS ProjectGood exposure to the application and support of PPM toolsGood IT knowledgeBehavioral Competencies:Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsSolid communication and interpersonal skillsWorks well under pressureTeam playerExcellent interpersonal skills
