Plumbing Estimator

Position Overview

The Plumbing Estimator will play a crucial role in our projects by accurately estimating costs and resources required for plumbing installations and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in plumbing systems, enabling them to provide precise project estimates and support our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate plumbing estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and scope.
• Utilize estimating software such as FastPIPE, Quickpen, and Trimble for cost calculation and project management.
• Prepare detailed and itemized cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Review and assess subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference and benchmarking.
• Provide support in contract negotiations and project bidding processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to clarify project details and requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumbing estimator or in a similar role.
• 5+ Years of Experience required
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and construction practices.
• Familiarity with estimating software like FastPIPE, Quickpen, and Trimble.
• Experience with Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration.
• Certifications such as CPE (Certified Professional Estimator) and CCP (Certified Cost Professional) are preferred.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
