Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins based on client needs and requirements.
Implement responsive design to ensure websites are optimized for various devices and browsers.
Debug and troubleshoot issues related to WordPress websites, plugins, and integrations.
Collaborate with the design team to convert design mockups into functional websites.
Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
Ensure the security and integrity of WordPress websites by implementing proper coding practices and security measures.
Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance of WordPress sites.
Work with third-party APIs and integrate them into WordPress solutions as needed.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients or end-users.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in PHP and WordPress development.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
WordPress Expertise: Experience in building custom themes and plugins, and working with WordPress hooks and filters.
Responsive Design: Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Tools: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
Problem Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with WooCommerce or other WordPress e-commerce platforms.
Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap.
Familiarity with WordPress REST API and other third-party APIs.
