We are seeking a Sales Orders Processor to quickly and accurately process all sales orders in the system with the correct information to endure we manufacture exactly what is ordered and are able to collect payment with no delays.
This role will assist in the sales efforts by providing our customers any information requested daily in order to obtain the correct purchase orders and requests to enter into our system for production.
The challenges are many and varied because our the variety of products and projects. Internal pricing, product line an configurations, as well as general lighting knowledge in a field where technology and design are fluid due to its continuing evolution.
This role reports to the VP Sales as well as additional support to the sales team when needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Enter purchase orders sent by distributors, electrical contractors and general contractors
Update clients with order confirmations and estimated ship dates once received from production
Maintain strong line with all Sales Representatives, Account Managers, Project Management, Inside Team, Distributors and Contractors
Issue any needed documentation such as submittals, wiring diagrams, code requests, etc
Enter and collect sales orders, as well as sample orders with a memo bill payment term
Maintain Sales grid up to date with the completed sales orders ensuring the team is aware of what is being processed
Respond to all incoming communications and/or redirect as needed (emails should be answered within a 2 hour time-frame , calls should be answered within 2 rings)
Continuous education to keep up with changes in production part numbers, critical to ensuring part numbers are accurate in sales orders
Strong verbal professional and written communication skills
Customer-service oriented, willing to assist in a professional manner and appearance
Strong, general understanding of sales and administrative tasks
Working well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Competent with computers, software systems: Including but not limited to, e-mail, word, excel, power point, CRM systems (Customer Relationship Management, we use NetSuite)
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills
Ability to accurately follow instructions

Drug Free Workplace:
We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.
Hours, compensation & benefits:
This position is full-time, on-site on a standard office schedule between the hours of 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility when needed.
