Multinational Agrochemicals Company, at São Paulo-SP.
Job Description
Lead and build operational infrastructure from the ground up, playing a critical role in the creation, structuring, and evolution of the operations area-including customs clearance, logistics, transportation, and warehousing-aligned with the company's go-to-market strategy in Brazil;
Develop and implement a strategic operational model, managing third-party service providers across logistics, port operations, and warehousing. Define KPIs, monitor SLA adherence, and drive performance improvements to ensure cost-effective and scalable operations;
Ensure full regulatory compliance with Brazilian customs and logistics laws, overseeing all documentation, clearing processes, and inventory flows to avoid disruptions, fines, or delays in the supply chain;
Collaborate closely with the commercial team to support order fulfillment, coordinate internal stock movements, and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks that could impact sales performance;
Act as the main interface between internal teams (sales, procurement, finance) and external stakeholders (3PLs, customs brokers, suppliers), ensuring smooth coordination and communication across the supply chain ecosystem;
Drive a culture of operational excellence and safety, applying best practices in warehouse management, SQHE policies, and inventory control, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, traceability, and accuracy;
Thrive in a startup-like environment: be prepared to operate with flexibility, under pressure, and with a high degree of autonomy. This role requires a hands-on, proactive leader eager to co-build the operation in an early-stage phase, with exposure to international stakeholders and a need for schedule flexibility due to the time difference with Eastern Mediterranean.
Solid experience in operations management within the Brazilian agribusiness sector, with a strong background in managing third-party logistics, customs clearance, and warehousing providers;
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields;
Strong knowledge of Brazilian customs regulations, port operations, and logistics best practices, especially in outsourced operational models;
Proven leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously, lead cross-functional coordination, and manage performance metrics and vendor relationships;
Fluency in Portuguese and English, with flexibility to work across time zones (notably with the Middle East) and travel up to 50% of the time between São Paulo and Mato Grosso.
