Job Description

We’re preparing to open our first studio in Brazil—and we’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead the charge. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and knows how to build and optimize operations from the ground up. As the Operations Manager for our São Paulo studio, you’ll be accountable for teams' overall performance and day-to-day operations, ensuring service excellence, process efficiency, and compliance with company standards. You’ll work closely with local and global stakeholders to build high-performing teams, implement scalable systems, and deliver exceptional quality and productivity across the board.

Responsibilities

  • Business leadership and direction to operational teams by setting clear expectations, objectives, and priorities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions of Team Managers and Specialists involved in Operations Management.
  • Orienting, training, supervising and developing studio staff.
  • Motivating team and individuals to achieve set targets.
  • Daily support, direction and assistance to the subordinates on all areas.
  • Ensuring continuous and properly organized communication flow within a team and with other departments.
  • Developing and maintaining internal documentation (manuals, procedures, regulations etc.) for the studio staff.
  • Analyzing and resolving quality and service issues, identifying trends and recommending system improvements.
  • Gathering and analyzing data on studio key performance indicators, preparing action plans for improvements and managing successful execution.
  • Execution of Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Initiating projects, following up and keeping track of ongoing projects.
  • Preparing monthly Studio performance analysis, presenting to senior business stakeholders.
  • Leading Operational Teams and product delivery planning, reviewing and monitoring
  • Maintaining relations and communication with Clients and Partners when requested by Commercial teams.
  • Forecasting, budgeting and tracking of the operation’s related costs to achieve accuracy of the spending and compliance with the budget.


Qualifications

Background Needed:

  • 3+ years of a proven successful experience in managerial role in service/operations management, including direct management of teams.
  • Certification in Quality, Project or Service management (e.g. Prosci, PMP, Prince2, ITIL)
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends within complex data sets, enabling informed decision-making and operational optimization.
  • Exceptional ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Good negotiation, mediation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English, Portuguese language knowledge will be considered as an advantage
  • Results-oriented attitude and high sense of responsibility.


Education:

  • Minimum requirement Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a Related Field, Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) would also be advantage but not essential.
