Job description
* Strategic Account Management: own sales targets across assigned accounts, including selling new products to customers, annual account business planning, and execution of business portfolio strategies.
* Capable in both the strategic aspects and the direct execution of the day-to-day elements of building a brand while using your analytical skills to identify opportunities for both Lotus and the customer.
* Build winning relationships with buyers, brokers, and distributor partners to ensure top notch execution and sustained growth.
* Proactively identify areas for improvement or new opportunities among your customer base, grow distribution, optimize pricing, shelf placement, and promotional effectiveness
* Perform retail level store checks in all markets as needed to ensure execution of initiatives and uncover opportunities.
* Represent Lotus Bakeries at retail meetings, trade events, broker meetings, and industry conferences.
Profile
* Understanding of the U.S. retail markets with specific experience with key customers in the club, grocery, and mass channels across regions.
* Solid financial acumen to assess and determine viability of commercial proposals.
* Strong planning, forecasting, trade management, and customer management skills with excellent attention to detail
* Experience utilizing and analyzing syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.) and applying it to build compelling sales presentations.
* Ability to travel as necessary for customer meetings and conferences.
* Proven business development track record with a passion to grow the business and sell in innovation.
* Possess strong presentation and relationship building skills.
* Have strong computer skills including an elevated level of proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint & Excel
