Work closely with Retail and Merchandising teams to organize retail marketing and promotion activities to build customer loyalty and increase brand awareness.
Identify potential collaborators and form strategic alliances for joint-partnership b) Trunk shows and collection previews c) Special product launches d) Joint promotion with department stores e) Effective usage of VIP mailing list for distribution of catalogs, postcards, and other direct mailers f) Ensure all activities are planned well in advance and obtain approval from Europe
Media and Public Relations:
Plan, prepare and organize local PR events
Develop, adapt and translate press materials locally to distribute to media
Maximize PR coverage by managing and controlling the rotation and lending of press samples
Initiate and coordinate celebrity dressing, sponsorships and joint promotion opportunities
Liaise with local production house, PR agencies and all suppliers to maximize local PR budget
Correspond with Europe for fashion show ticket requests for key local media
Develop and maintain effective alliance with targeted media in fashion & lifestyle, art & culture, home & design Budgets and Reports:
Control PR/Marketing budget and allocation of resources
Monitor and check all expenses in MARCOM department
Others
Constantly explore new communication tools and MARCOM opportunities for the brands
Arrange local printing of materials within brand standards where relevant
Support HR, Retail and Merchandising departments on training, team building activities and Mystery Shopping program where required
Oversee all internal and external communication related matters on an on-going basis
Key Accountabilities
Establish and manage the marketing brand communications, to promote awareness for the brands and contribute to their growth in the China market.
Maintain brand perception and translate each brand's image through PR and customer activities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Minimum 8+ years of Marketing and/or PR experience in similar capacity with multi-national organization and / or luxury retail industry
A bachelors degree or above with major in marketing or business management
Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and ability to lead changes
Resourcefulness and hands-on style of work
Highly Organized & Planning Skills
Strong marketing sense; good communicator and attention to details
Broad knowledge and working experience in creative marketing and implementation of fashion events
Possess excellent team work spirit and willing to provide cross departmental support
Ideally has strong network with key fashion industry players incl. modeling agencies, external vendors, PR/Event companies and industry talent such as make up artists, hairstylist is a plus.
