Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing and Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and create 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Perform 3D modeling to visualize and refine product designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Utilize CAD software to create and maintain engineering drawings.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Work on product design and development from concept to production.
• Participate in root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in 2D and 3D design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong skills in 3D modeling and CAD software.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with product design and quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with materials science and manufacturing processes.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing issues effectively.
• Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
