We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician for a machining manufacturing company in Milwaukee!. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
• Ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address maintenance issues and support production goals.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage the maintenance budget and control costs.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in electrical maintenance preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance team
• Proven experience in Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
