Your mission As a Machine Learning Engineer, your mission is to contribute to developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning algorithms in production environments. You will play a pivotal role in the team, building the core of Vedrai products. You will design and implement machine learning pipelines, as well as ensure the scalability and robustness of inference systems in our products. Your responsibilities Actively contribute to the quantitative success of our Products Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable MLOps solutions that facilitate the integration and deployment of machine learning models into our products Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance machine learning infrastructure and streamline operational processes Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise system components for enhanced scalability Stay up to date with whatever is happening in the ML world Your super skills A Master’s Degree or PhD in quantitative fields, like Computer Science, Engineering, Stats, Math, or Physics Fluent in English and eager to work in a multicultural and international environment Curiosity and open-mindedness toward the ideas of others Passion for technology Desire to learn new things and share them with other people Desire to grow professionally, improve and challenge oneself, always demonstrating great proactivity Excellent ability to work and communicate within your team Your experience 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer in agile teams Previous working experience in a software product-oriented company Familiarity with development led by product OKRs Good knowledge of the following applied machine learning fields: Recommender Systems, NLP, LLM, Information Retrieval, Causal Inference, Time Series, Knowledge Graph Superb Python and PySpark programming skills and experience with data science libraries, e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn Experience with modeling and implementing deep learning models by employing TensorFlow or PyTorch Hands-on experience in delivering LLM-based solutions Experience with Graph DB technologies Proficiency in SQL Experience in at least one compiled object-oriented programming language (such as Java or C++). Familiarity with MLOps practices and knowledge of tools such as MLFlow Hands-on experience with AWS services including Fargate, Step Functions, S3, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, etc. Demonstrated ability to write testable, modular, clean, and secure code Experience with REST APIs, Pub/Sub messaging, or event streaming Familiarity with CI pipelines (e.g., GitLab), containerization, and pair programming Nice to have: AWS Certified Machine Learning certification Familiarity with DevOps practices including container orchestration, shell scripting, test automation, and Linux knowledge Familiarity with architectural patterns of large-scale software applications Why Vedrai?
