Prometeia is looking for professionals to join the Data Science team.
This team supports the digital transformation of banks and insurance companies through the development of AI intensive systems. Such systems must be able to analyze a heterogeneous ever-increasing amount data. Features such as scalability, resilience and ability to evolve are of paramount importance for the success of a project.
We are looking for candidates interested in joining our Data Science team and reach new goals in the digital innovation of our clients.
We need Data Engineers/Machine learning Engineers who are able to design, develop and maintain highly scalable analytical systems.
We are looking for talents with some experience the area, high technical background with a portfolio of previously developed projects.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Development of machine learning prototypes and end to end solutions for real time analysis or batch analysis of a large amounts of data
Model lifecycle management through MLOps techniques
Development of automatic systems for test, integration and the deployment of software artifacts and their lifecycle management
Development of proactive monitoring systems
Optimize the performance and scalability of machine learning models
Work closely with data scientists to translate research models into production-ready solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
Good knowledge of Python
Good knowledge of data structures and problem-solving skills
Attitude to design and develop maintainable, robust and scalable code using, if possible, a test-driven development (TDD) approach.
Knowledge of the PaaS and SaaS solutions offered by different cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP). Ability to design a cloud native solution taking into account requirements and performing a cost-benefits analysis
Good knowledge of relational databases such as Postgres and document databases, like MongoDB
Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
Basic knowledge of distributed systems
Experience with code versioning systems (Git)
Ability to work on Linux systems without much supervision
NICE TO HAVE:
Knowledge of one or more distributed computing frameworks and their applicative stack: e.g., Spark, Apache Flink
Knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Science libraries and frameworks such as pandas, numpy, scikit, pytorch and tensorflow
Knowledge of container orchestration systems: Kubernetes
Familiarity with Triton Inference Server or similar for deploying and serving high-performance machine learning models
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with excellent grades in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or related fields
Experience in a business context (including Internship), preferably for a company in the financial or insurance field
