Summary

Consilio is currently seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join a prestigious law firm in Washington DC. This is a permanent, full-time, benefited position. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to support a high-performing group of attorneys and paralegals. The ideal candidate brings a mix of strong litigation knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a professional, client-focused demeanor.

Work Schedule: Hybrid. 1st 90 days in office Mon-Thurs, remote Friday. After 90 days, 3 in / 2 out

Salary Range: $64,500 – $100,000 annually depending on years of experience

🔹 Key Responsibilities Include

  • Drafting, revising, and e-filing legal documents in both state and federal court systems
  • Supporting trial preparation, including coordinating discovery, depositions, and trial binders
  • Managing attorney calendars, travel, expenses, and meeting coordination
  • Maintaining organized case files and project timelines
  • Handling time entry and facilitating conflicts checks and client onboarding
  • Acting as a liaison between attorneys, clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Supporting overall firm operations with a team-first mindset

🔹 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of litigation support experience within a multi-office firm
  • Strong communication and proofreading skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying highly organized and detail-driven
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Aderant and ChromeRiver is a big plus
