Summary

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery – Technical & Soft Skills

  • Conduct structured classroom and hands-on technical training sessions on equipment systems: engine, transmission, hydraulics, and electronics.
  • Deliver soft skill modules covering:
  • Customer communication & handling
  • Professional etiquette & grooming
  • Time management & ownership
  • Team collaboration & leadership fundamentals
  • Safety mindset & quality consciousness

2. Content Development

  • Develop & maintain technical training material, SOPs, troubleshooting charts.
  • Design soft skill modules, role-play scenarios, and interactive learning content.
  • Align content with organizational values, service goals, and field expectations.

3. Competency Mapping & Skill Gap Identification

  • Assess the competency levels of service engineers through TNA (Training Needs Analysis).
  • Support HR and HODs in defining core technical and behavioral competencies by role.
  • Design Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for field teams.

4. Assessment & Feedback

  • Conduct pre- and post-training evaluations – written, practical, and behavioral.
  • Gather participant and manager feedback for continuous improvement.

5. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with service managers, regional trainers, and customer support teams.
  • Submit monthly training plans, attendance, feedback analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance documentation.

Educational Qualification:

  • BE/DME in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
  • Certification in Soft Skills, Instructional Design, or Learning & Development is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in training in construction/heavy equipment industry (CAT, JCB, L&T, Komatsu preferred)
  • Experience in delivering or designing behavioral training is desirable
