Summary

Our client is a retail company. They seek a Learning & Development Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement approaches to enhance the skills of our employees
  • Design performance and business skills learning and development programs
  • Handle needs analysis, produce project plans, and conduct research to improve projects
  • Work with the Global Head of Talent to ensure global consistency of programs
  • Support in the delivery of the L&D global programs regionally, online and in-person
  • Advertise all training programs, including quarterly calendar and monthly specialist updates
  • Create and implement team-building programs as assigned by the HR Director
  • Lead off-sites to aid in the development of different teams/departments regionally
  • Oversee program management of the L&D training portfolio and projects
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks and activities as requested by management


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, etc.
  • Previous learning and development experience
  • Broad knowledge in multiple aspects of training
  • Experience working in professional services is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven forward-planning skills and able to manage and prioritize
  • Effective presentation, persuading, and influencing skills
  • High levels of computer literacy and competence
