Position Overview The Key Account Project Manager ensures successful project execution, improves team coordination and processes, and resolves challenges to keep clients satisfied and projects on track. This role is responsible for managing Skyline’s most important and complex client programs. Acting as the operational backbone for key accounts, the KAPM builds strong internal and external relationships, oversees budgets and timelines, and drives results by coordinating projects with cross-functional teams. By focusing on execution, collaboration, and problem-solving, the KAPM ensures client goals are met and Skyline’s reputation for excellence is upheld. Essential Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee complex client projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and adherence to scope. Manage budgets, timelines, approvals, and closeout activities while addressing potential risks. Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates, resolving concerns, and ensuring their goals are achieved. Build trust through proactive communication and consistent results. Team Coordination and Process Improvement: Work closely with internal teams, including design, service, and logistics, to streamline processes and enhance collaboration. Ensure workflows are optimized for efficiency and consistency. Estimating and Quoting: Prepare detailed project estimates, gathering input from vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. Manage quote approvals and ensure accurate pricing. Invoicing: Collaborate with the commercial team, account managers, and finance to facilitate accurate and timely invoicing. Documentation and Technical Oversight: Develop and maintain best practices for client services and review technical documents, such as CAD drawings and installation plans, for accuracy and feasibility. Strategic Growth and Risk Management: Identify opportunities for service expansion to drive client satisfaction and revenue growth. Proactively anticipate and resolve risks to maintain project momentum. Travel: Provide on-site oversight for significant or complex projects as needed. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; PMP certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in project management, with at least 3 years managing high-profile accounts. Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and technical expertise, with proficiency in project management tools (e.g., TeamUp, Adobe Workfront).
