About the region & the Business

The APAC region is the source of many of our ingredients, and we have deep relationships with farmers, supporting many in sustainability programs. At our processing facilities in key growing locations in APAC and with our direct engagement at source, we produce various spice ingredients where we have global leadership positions supplying to customers across food companies, spice packers, flavour houses, and food service.

Overview of the position


The incumbent will be responsible for managing & developing new customer relationships in Thailand. The person would be responsible for developing the sales growth strategy and ensuring initiatives are flawlessly implemented in the key accounts.


Position responsibilities:


  • Gain industry insights, build deep customer relationships, and manage operational excellence in selling spice ingredients with minimal supervision.
  • Explore business opportunities, develop the spices ingredients customer base, and increase the same through understanding product, flavor, quality, market dynamics, and after-sales service.
  • Achieve annual sales targets by regular interaction with customers.
  • Manage customer interactions professionally, build strong customer relationships, and ensure customer loyalty.
  • Monitor competitive activity in the market and update the company on competitor information.
  • Develop key insights into the market and provide market views and reports regularly.
  • Build a successful key account based on customers’ needs - Strategy, Implementation, Coordination, and Development.
  • Provide the leadership needed to achieve targets for sales, profitability, category growth, and industry leadership with the key accounts.
  • Develop, agree, and implement the annual account development plan for required product lines.
  • Develop contingency plans – forecast sales, manage contract pull rates, competitor activity, and supply issues.


Position requirement


  • Minimum university graduation with at least 12 - 15 years of work experience in Key Account Management in the B2B industrial sales (preferably in food industry)
  • Proven record and experience in managing customer base & key accounts (end users, industrial clients, retailers, or distributors).
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies for increasing market share and profitability on a sustainable basis in line with the Annual Business Plan.
  • Good sales acumen and relationship management skills.
  • Effective communication skills (English as the working language).
  • Degree holder in any related field, preferably in food ingredients.
  • Good channel insights, product knowledge, and understanding of financial statements.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
  • Good customer/stakeholder management skills.
