M-STAT, leading business messaging provider, with over 2 decades experience of transforming businesses in the mobile ecosystem, is currently seeking a highly motivated QA Tester to join our team in ensuring the quality of our software solutions. If you have experience in manual testing, we would like to meet you!

The candidate’s mission will be to use, validate and improve M-STAT’s highly interactive web platforms. It is also instrumental to bring feedback for improving the platforms by active involvement during product design and demo meetings.

Main responsibilities:

• Work with Product Development and IT teams to identify test requirements and plan testing for features and builds, including releases of our web & mobile applications
• Record test results, generate written reports that detail the findings/bugs and diagnose issues discovered during the testing phase.
• Participate in the development of the QA pipeline, test plans, and checklists to verify the functionality and performance of new features and apps.
• Help to drive continuous process improvements for the QA department and the company.
• Assist with implementing Quality Assurance standards and best practices to improve the efficiency of the department.
• Work in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent shift in areas of focus.

Must-have skills:

• Up to 2 years experience in working on manual testing

-Functional testing (esp. following design documents to ensure intended behavior is captured in tested software).

-Usability testing (working with, and thinking like different users to bring variety to testing assignments).

-Performance testing (making sure application performs under different scaling conditions).

• Document procedures to enable faster troubleshooting and resolution.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Team player with great communication skills.

Good-to-have skills:

• Working experience with Agile Development and Jira or other ticketing software.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field.
