Role and Responsibilities

• Oversees the end-to-end deployment of applications, ensuring successful implementation.
• Develop deployment strategies, including testing, rollout, and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with Group IT and retail teams to ensure smooth deployment process.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including engineers and business analysts.
• Manage release schedules, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with application deployment.
• Utilize deployment automation tools to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and support teams.
• Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Information Technology, or related field
• 8+ years’ experience in an IT Application Analyst role or related to information technology
• Minimum 5 years of experience, in the world of retail/luxury, and point of sales management solutions (Cegid, SAP Retail)
• Experience with cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure)
• Technical knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL database and in the field of ERP is mandatory
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
• Motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple deployments simultaneously
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
