We are currently looking for an experienced IT Applications Project Manager to join our team on behalf of one of our top clients, leader in the manufacturing industry.

About the Role:

The IT Applications Project Manager oversees IT projects to meet business goals, acting, also, as the liaison between IT and Business, translates business needs into technical requirements and implements best practices to ensure project delivery according to deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of internal team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the progress of IT projects and ensure timely delivery, testing, and deployment, adhering to corporate IT PMO methodology within the defined business project scope.
• Manage IT projects from request submission through scope definition, analysis and design, implementation, user acceptance, deployment, and monitoring performance metrics such as status, risks, budget, and resources.
• Serve as the liaison between IT and Business to ensure that project stakeholders receive the expected services.
• Develop an understanding of business processes and workflows to facilitate business requirements analysis and the development of appropriate solutions for each business function.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements for clarity among the internal IT team.
• Collaborate with other internal departments and vendors to enhance teamwork, identify dependencies, maintain common goals, and ensure effective problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Efficiently manage product backlog by ensuring clear prioritization and delivery processes.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any other relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in medium/large-scale projects.
• Experience in IT Applications medium/large scale projects
• Experience in ERP, SAP, SAP S/4HANA projects is highly desirable
• Experience in Industrial Applications/MOM/MES projects is desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Project Management tools, such as ServiceNow, JIRA, MS Project and in MS Office tools.
• Experience in people management of cross-functional teams is desirable.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scum Master Certification or Other Project Management certification is desirable.
